Designed for videography and photography
This wide-angle lens from Samyang has been developed to meet the special demands of videographers and photographers. The aperture is continuously adjustable from 1.5 to 22 and the focus adjustment is smooth and easy. This allows for smooth tracking of the focus when shooting video. The aperture ring and focus ring are equipped with a toothed ring and are thus optimised for use with follow focus systems. For better legibility, the distance and aperture scales are arranged on the side.
Versatile wide-angle focal length and high lens speed
The Samyang 24/1.5 lens is the ideal focal length in the wide-angle range, allowing a wide variety of composition possibilities for creative shots. The lens is particularly suitable for reportage films and images. It has a focal length of 24 mm. The excellent lens speed of 1:1.5 makes it possible to take excellent pictures even in less favourable lighting conditions.
High-quality workmanship
The lens has a high-quality construction. The metal housing is very robust and impresses with its noble appearance. The glass lenses of the lens are coated and thus produce an excellent contrast and sharpness range as well as a well-balanced colour balance. The particularly high-quality optics of the lens ensure optimal image results. The lens hood prevents stray light and lens reflections from the side.
Advantages of a full-frame lens on a camera with an APS-C sensor
Save time in post-processing. A lot of lens aberrations like distortion, edge blur or vignetting occur on the outer areas of the image. If you use a lens calculated for full format on a camera with an APS-C sensor, these areas are not used. This way you get the maximum quality. Additional post-processing time to correct lens errors is therefore not necessary.
