Description
Canon Lens
The Canon FL 55-135mm f/3.5 was an early zoom lens designed for Canon’s FL mount SLRs (introduced around 1964). It offered a useful zoom range from standard to medium telephoto with a relatively bright constant f/3.5 aperture. As one of the earlier zoom designs, it was quite large and heavy compared to later FD zooms. It utilized the FL breech-lock mount but could be used (with stop-down metering) on later FD bodies. This lens represents Canon’s early efforts in developing practical zoom lenses for their SLR system.
