M39 Lens
The Industar-50 (and variants like 50-2) is a compact Soviet lens, typically 50mm f/3.5, based on the Zeiss Tessar design. Produced in massive quantities, often as the kit lens for Zenit SLRs (M39 or M42 mount) or Zorki/FED rangefinders (LTM/M39). Known for being surprisingly sharp (‘pancake’ style) when stopped down, and very affordable.
