The Leicaflex SL is a 35mm Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera from Leica’s R-system, known for combining Leica’s legendary lens quality with an SLR viewing system. Introduced 1968. Added TTL selective area metering to the original Leicaflex. While perhaps overshadowed by the M-system, Leica R cameras offered a different shooting experience, favored for specific applications like macro and telephoto work.
