The Canon EOS 500 (known as the EOS Rebel XS in North America and EOS Kiss in Japan) was an extremely popular entry-level autofocus 35mm film SLR launched in 1993. It was designed to be lightweight, compact, and very user-friendly, featuring fully automatic modes alongside creative options (Av, Tv, M). Its affordability and ease of use made it a massive seller and introduced many people to the EOS system. This is the camera body only, in black finish.
