The Leica R is a 35mm Single Lens Reflex (SLR) camera from Leica’s R-system, known for combining Leica’s legendary lens quality with an SLR viewing system. Part of the Leica R series, offering robust build and access to superb R lenses. While perhaps overshadowed by the M-system, Leica R cameras offered a different shooting experience, favored for specific applications like macro and telephoto work.
