Profoto is proud to announce a collaboration with world-renowned artist, photographer, filmmaker, and conservationist Mattias Klum. In this exclusive Profoto series, we join Klum on his journeys as he uses the new Profoto B30 to illuminate the powerful stories behind his work.
In this first episode of the series, we’re invited to take part in Klum’s new art and book project in the rainforest of Brazil’s Mata Atlântica—an ecosystem far less known than the Amazon, yet every bit as ancient, as intricate, and even more endangered.
About Mattias Klum
Mattias Klum uses his evocative storytelling and visual artistry to connect humanity with nature. A National Geographic Photographer and Explorer since 1991, Klum has crafted 13 cover stories for the reputed magazine, directed 12 documentaries, and published 17 books co-authored with esteemed scientists and luminaries like Johan Rockström and Jane Goodall.
