Description
The Canon EOS 100 (known as the EOS Elan in the Americas) was an autofocus 35mm film SLR introduced in 1991. Positioned towards the advanced amateur, it offered improved autofocus performance, faster motor drive (3 fps), and more sophisticated metering options compared to earlier entry-level EOS models. The ‘QD’ designation indicates it features a Quartz Date back, allowing the date or time to be imprinted onto the photographs. It was a well-regarded camera known for its good balance of features, performance, and handling.
