Description
The Canon EOS 3000 (also known as EOS 88 in Asia) was introduced in 1999 as a very basic, budget-oriented autofocus 35mm film SLR. It stripped down features found in slightly higher models like the EOS 500N, offering a simpler 3-point AF system (non-selectable center point often prioritized), basic metering, and a slower 1/2000s top shutter speed. It was designed purely for ease of use and affordability, targeting absolute beginners or those wanting the simplest possible EOS experience. This is the black body only.
