Description
Canon Lens
The Canon FL 58mm f/1.2, often nicknamed the ‘Dream Lens’ (though that title is also associated with the 50mm f/0.95 rangefinder lens), was Canon’s ultra-fast standard lens for the earlier FL mount system (introduced 1966, updated 1968). It preceded the FD mount f/1.2 lenses and was renowned for its ability to gather light and produce distinctive, often swirly, bokeh at its widest aperture. While perhaps not as technically corrected as later aspherical designs, its unique rendering and historical significance make it highly desirable.
