Description
The Canon Power Winder A was a motorized film advance accessory designed primarily for the extremely popular Canon A-series cameras, such as the AE-1, AT-1, AV-1, and AL-1 (introduced 1978). It attached to the base of the camera and provided continuous shooting at up to 2 frames per second, as well as single-frame advance. This allowed the photographer to keep their eye to the viewfinder and shoot sequences more rapidly without needing to manually advance the film lever. It was powered by AA batteries.
