The clamp is based on the simple clip-on principle; it can be clipped to the carrier straps of a backpack, a bag or directly to your own clothes and thus serves the purpose of stabilizing and fastening the camera. The camera can be directly fastened to the clamp by using the pins, without having to use another adapter.
