Ideal for landscape and architecture
The compact Samyang 21/1.4 APS-C for mirrorless system cameras is ideal for creative landscape and architecture shots from unusual perspectives, but also for street and reportage photography. Detailed close-up shots are also possible thanks to a closest focusing distance of only approx. 30 cm. At the same time, the lens delivers optimal results even in low light thanks to its very high lens speed of 1:1.4.

High-quality optics
A particularly high-quality optical construction of 8 multi-coated glass lenses achieves excellent imaging results. In addition, 3 aspherical lenses ensure the best possible correction of chromatic aberrations. A lens hood, which can be removed if necessary, prevents stray light and lens reflections from entering the lens from the side. The lens is internally focusing, which means that the overall length of the optics does not change. Focusing is manual and enables pinpoint accuracy.

Using an APS-C lens on a camera with a full-frame sensor
Lenses designed for cameras with an APS-C sensor can sometimes be used (mainly by using an adapter) on cameras with a full-frame sensor. However, due to the much smaller image circle of APS-C lenses, the edges will be black. The usable area of the image photographed with a full-frame camera therefore corresponds to that of a camera with an APS-C sensor. The images must therefore be cropped in post-processing. Using APS-C lenses on full-frame cameras is therefore possible, but not recommended.
