Ultra wide-angle photo lens
The Samyang AF 14mm F2.8 Nikon F is a full frame lens for Nikon F full frame and APS-C cameras. It combines a wide 116.6ﾰ angle of view with a short focal length and great depth of field. From centre to corner of the wide 116.6ﾰ angle of view, image quality is remarkably consistent. This lightweight and compact ultra wide-angle lens features the latest Samyang technology – for Samyang’s fastest, most accurate and quietest autofocus (compared to previous AF 14mm F2.8 lenses). The ultra-wide angle lens delivers the image quality Samyang is known for. You get a beautiful bokeh with its 7 rounded aperture blades that allow you to set the focus perfectly. Ideal for portrait, landscape and night photography.
Processing
The ultra-wide-angle lens weighs only 474 g (without lens cap and lens hood). The lens hood is permanently attached. Thanks to 15 elements in 10 groups, the lens delivers a uniformly high resolution from the centre to the edge. Two aspherical lenses, four high-index lenses and Ultra-Multi-Coating (UMC) effectively prevent distortion and chromatic aberration, resulting in crystal clear resolution. The lens is splash-proof.
Features
It offers the ability to switch from autofocus to manual mode thanks to the built-in AF/MF switch. With a close-up limit of just 20 cm, it allows for more vivid close-up shots, especially for portraits, food, wildlife and interiors. The lens makes for great ultra wide-angle shots and is particularly interesting for photojournalists, landscape photographers and those who like to work with wide perspectives.
