Small lens with big technology
The Samyang 45 mm autofocus lens has been specially developed for photographers with high demands on image quality and sharpness. It is suitable for mirrorless Sony cameras with full format and also APS-C sensor. With a length of 56.1 mm and a weight of 162 g, the autofocus lens is extremely compact, yet it is full of high-quality technology and great features that will make every photographer’s heart beat faster. Despite its compact size, the lens comes with sophisticated technology and offers you a fast and reliable autofocus.
A lens for every occasion
The 45 mm focal length is a real all-rounder among fixed focal length lenses, as it almost resembles the angle of view of the human eye, allowing you to shoot “straight from the action”. The angle of view of 53� is particularly interesting in street photography – and even with an APS-C sensor the angle of view comes to just under 35�, the focal length to approx. 67.5 mm. The AF 45 mm F1.8 from SAMYANG is also the ideal companion for travel and reportage photography. Portrait photographers can also rejoice, because at open aperture the autofocus lens gives a particularly beautiful bokeh.
Great technology in a small size
Not only the optical performance of the lens dwarf is impressive. The low weight and compact dimensions are made for travelling. It is the new “always there” lens.
High-quality workmanship of optics and mechanics
The multi-coated lenses (Ultra Multi Coating) are the absolute highlight of the autofocus lens. They ensure a high-contrast reproduction of the image subject without reflections, minimise chromatic aberrations and enable a high resolution. The lens consists of a total of seven glass elements, which are divided into six groups. Among them are two aspherical lenses and a highly reflective lens that optimises the flow of light to give you a clear and vivid image. The closest focusing distance is just 45 cm. With an open aperture, you get an even image right to the corners of the frame, even in difficult lighting conditions.
