Description
Sigma produced various 28-135mm ‘hyperzoom’ or ‘all-in-one’ lenses for Canon EF mount, typically aimed at the consumer market. These lenses offered a convenient extended zoom range, covering wide-angle to medium telephoto, making them suitable for travel and casual photography. Apertures were usually variable (e.g., f/3.8-5.6). Later versions might include ‘Macro’ capabilities or ‘IF’ (Internal Focusing). While offering versatility, image quality, especially at the extremes of the zoom range or wide open, might be compromised compared to shorter zooms or prime lenses.
