One plate for two applications
With this quick release plate you can mount Aptaris cages on tripod heads as well as attach a rod system to the cage and thus upgrade it to a rig. With the help of the three 1/4 inch threads you can also attach other accessories, for example a Magic Arm.
The plate conforms to the Manfrotto P501 standard and therefore fits many common tripod heads.
