Description
The Vivitar T4 system was an early interchangeable mount system (preceding Adaptall) from the late 1960s/early 1970s. T4 lenses required a specific T4 adapter to connect to a camera body. This item is the T4 adapter specifically designed to mount a Vivitar T4 lens onto a Canon FD mount camera. It allowed photographers who owned T4 lenses to use them on the (then new) Canon FD system cameras like the F-1 and FTb. These adapters contain the necessary mechanical linkages for automatic diaphragm operation.
